7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

7:32 pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge

Introduction of Officers: Mike Cumberland- President, John Hiser- treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, Tom Horstman- Trap, Stephen Gustkey- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder/Junior Rifle.

Treasurer’s Report: John read the report.

Bills and Communications: Paid normal monthly bills.

Pop: Steve turned in $48.

Rental Committee Report: Oct 9 SRU, Oct 20, Oct 27.

Pistol Team: Steve said nothing to report this month. The pistol team shoots on Thursdays, indoor from 5 PM till dark. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom turned in $164.85. Winter trap league will be starting November 4th from noon-5pm on Sundays. Anyone is welcome to join. Practice shooting and the summer league will be ending on Tuesday, October 30th. but you can still come shoot practice during the winter league from noon-5pm. $3.50 per 25 targets. Open to the general public, club members, and new shooters.

Black Powder: Mike turned in the $672 from the Rendezvous. 2nd Sunday of each month 11:00 am are the meat shoots (Black powder, closest to bullseye).

Junior Rifle Team: Mike said that Junior rifle will start on November 6th. Shooting will be on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8pm. Contact Mike Ripley with any questions or interest.

Archery: Still looking for any members willing to join together to make a team to practice.

Fun Indoor Shoot: Fun indoor shoot has begun. They normally shoot every Monday 10am-till shooting is done, doors open at 9 am. Everyone is welcome. Iron/Peep sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.

Membership: Brian read new memberships and turned in $350 of which $45 goes to the maintenance fund and $305 to the general fund. $0 was turned in for key cards. He reported 99 new members for 2018 which brings a total of 451 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is 630.

Old Business: The fall newsletter is almost completed and will be sent out very soon.

New Business: Review of the by-laws to see if there are any changes to be made. Any changes can be presented in the November meeting and will be voted on in the December meeting. Will be looking into a new building to store tractor and mower.

Good of the Association: Welcome back Rich Hoover! Glad to hear you are doing better.
